Our Process

What Will We Need for Your Quote?

We will need the year, make and model of vehicle(s). (VIN if available) All licensed household member's names, dates of birth, and drivers license numbers. Current insurance company you are with, (if applicable) and the effective and expiration dates of your policy. Limits of coverage on your current policy for an "apples-to-apples" quote, or, desired levels of liability and physical damage coverage if not currently insured. With many companies, most, or all, of this information is on the Declarations Pages. We find that a lot of the time most people are not aware of what their coverages do for them. We will be happy to explain your current coverages and go over if anything should to be added, or removed, from your policy.

We will need to know if you own or rent, and the home address. For Renters Insurance, we will also need to know how much Contents Coverage is desired. Most companies have a minimum requirement of $15,000 for Contents Coverage, and go up to as much as is needed. Homeowners Insurance is very specific to the property in question. At minimum, we would need to know the age of the home, square footage, exterior details, (brick, vinyl, aluminum, etc.) type and age of roof, attached and detached structures, and if the home has a basement. We highly recommend speaking about this policy quote over the phone as there are other details that we would need in order to get the most accurate quote to you.

As these coverages are very personal in nature, your requirements and quote are typically discussed in person, by appointment.
